Wake District – Watersports Activity Disclaimer
By participating in any watersports activities provided by Wake District, you acknowledge and accept that such activities carry inherent risks, including the possibility of personal injury. You agree that you take part voluntarily and are responsible for assessing your own physical capability to safely engage in these activities. You further agree to follow all safety instructions issued by Wake District staff and to use all equipment correctly and responsibly. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wake District accepts no liability for any injuries, accidents, damages, or losses that may occur as a result of your participation. If you have any existing medical conditions or concerns, you should seek advice from a medical professional before taking part.
Wake District reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or amend any booked activities without prior notice in the event of circumstances beyond its reasonable control. These may include, but are not limited to, adverse weather conditions, equipment failure, safety concerns, acts of God, or any other unforeseen events that render the activity unsafe or impractical to deliver.
In such cases, Wake District will make reasonable efforts to offer an alternative date or activity. Where this is not possible, a refund or credit may be provided at Wake District's discretion. Wake District shall not be held liable for any additional costs, losses, or inconvenience arising from such cancellations.
If you need to cancel a confirmed booking, please let us know as early as possible by emailing info@wakedistrict.co.uk. Refunds are based on how much notice you give before your session's scheduled start time:
Notice is calculated from the date and time we receive your cancellation in writing, relative to your booked start time. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method and are calculated on the amount you paid; card and payment-processing fees are non-refundable. Where possible we're happy to move your booking to another date instead — just ask, subject to availability.
